Awww, I loved it! So sweet, and I can totally see Neal doing that... somehow when he does it it seems more sweet than creepy and stalkerish, heh. I liked the idea that he was really basically just courting Peter in a weird sort of way. I also loved that he remembered Peter and El's anniversary when Peter forgot. ^^ (also, I thought you did a great job with the present tense, so no worries there!)
