'Lo. Yeah, I realise we're already friends, but I'm silly.
Actually, I remembered that you played assassins and was wondering if you would mind helping me out some? I want to start a game at my school. So, anything would help such as helpful things. Links. Things like that?
No problem. The Cambridge site is www.srcf.ucam.org/assassins, which has details of our games and ruleset. This ruleset has been developed over at least 10 years, and is optimised for Cambridge. We can also give advice on what might work in other places. For instance, Durham use more Nerf weapons and fewer large waterpistols, which has various consequences. A guild has just started in Leeds which we also have links with, which has a much smaller membership.
If you use IRC, irc.srcf.ucam.org has #assassins, which is the best source of info. Alternatively, feel free to email or MSN - jenny_scott_thompson@hotmail.com. How strict are your school on security? Do you have many outdoor areas, or would the game be all indoor? Do people live on campus, or in a larger area? Are there many CCTV cameras? How many people do you expect to have playing?
Hey! I'm hooking up with old friends and looking for lame excuses to visit the UK while I'm actually in this half of the world. (Forgive me my ulterior motives, please, I'm a nice person?) How are you?
Hi! I'm well, thanks. I have attempted to add you to GoogleTalk. I am happy to give you an excuse to visit the UK. I shall be in Cambridge for about a week more, then Guildford (Surrey, about an hour away from London). Eurostar is made of awesome, since St Pancras is right by King's Cross, so getting from Paris to Cambridge is suddenly easy. But the ferry is probably cheaper.
Hi, you commented on a comment of mine today and I noticed that we have a lot of interests in common - and you went to a space conference which sounds very exciting and glamorous. So, I friended you. I was wondering if you might friend me in return - I'm a big fan of Stargate, kind of geeky (involved with online education), love books, also a Christian, and have been known to knit (although not in a long time).
Hiya! The space conference was very exciting. I'm not doing much space stuff at the moment, but I still follow a bit of the industry news. And Stargate, geeky, books and Christian sounds good :) I should warn you, though, at the moment I'm mainly posting on Dreamwidth, so there's not much content on my LJ these days. Feel free to come and find me over there, though.
