Ok, this looks to be fixed. It was a anti-spam plugin that (for some unknown reason) doesn't have any configuration interface. Lame. I've uninstalled the plugin from Wordpress.
One thing I have noticed is that the LJ syndication information isn't really correct. I've had posts that took 5 hours to appear. Also, you may not have this problem with WordPress, but Blogger posts Zulu time in the RSS feed and LJ just uses that. So, I usually see my posts as being written a few hours in the future.
It would appear that WordPress feeds use UTC even though I specificly set it in the config to default to -5 hours from that. So, my posts do appear to come from the future.
Also, I think LJ polls a feed based on the time between updates. For example, if you post once a day, it'll poll your feed a couple times a day looking for changes. But if you only post once a week, LJ will poll the feed less often.
