I've decided that I'm going to major in English. I've realized that I haven't really enjoyed a class since Ms. Smith. I think English is the deciding factor there, though. And there are these great classes ( Read more... )

Were you going to go into molecular biology? English will be a lovely major, Jenn. People love it here...I know I'd hate it :-).

Maybe this is true for my field more than others. But I know a documentary filmmaker with a BS in zoology, a legendary writer-producer with a BA in textile engineering, a COO with a half-completed MA in English lit, and a very successful entrepreneur with less than one year of college.

So study what you like. The important stuff you learn outside of class anyway.
