Yet another birthday... (December 10th, 1979)

Rolls around and here I am stuck in the house doing nothing. No friends to help celebrate it or lavish me with gifts (not that is or ever will be necessary). The only one I know that I kept track of from high school was busy doing a local church production of the Christmas story. Those of who I know online, at least half weren't around off, doing

It's a cold world innit. Birthdays are just another day of the year, each day being the same cycle of a sun rising and falling regardless of calendar anyway. It's the people who care that make a birthday special, because it's people who define and make symbolism of it.

Anyway, it would always be nice to have one day which re-affirms that people do care about us, and on that note, I do wish you a belated happy birthday :)

Happy Birthday. I didn't know it was your birthday, plus I always cannot remember everyone's birthday. I can't even remember my own friend's b-days cause I don't celebrate it with them. I seem to only be tied to family b-days.

People are meant to live for a reason. Life may throw us a bad hand at times to deal with (so to speak) but don't cash in all your chips. I know I have been through a LOT of emotional stress over all my years, and I want to keep living, and do the best I can with myself. I know life can be hard, but it's about learning from what our experiences tell us that make us better the next time it comes around
