Why my self-esteem matters to me

For the past two days I've done very little but read posts about the women's bodies should be made open to the public debacle. Your point of view in your post sounds perfectly reasonable to me! It wouldn't be your problem if people don't have the brains to see how offensive this question, asked at random, to a random woman, can be! It would be *their* problem! They absolutely would have no right to assault your self-esteem - or the self-esteem of any stranger - in such a way! Therefore, your reaction to this situation as presented is a valid one. Yay, you!

Thank you for your comment. It isn't my problem is someone randomly came up to me and asked to cop a feel, especially to make that person feel better about himself or herself. However, it would be my problem if I asked to do the same thing to make me feel better.
There are personal space boundaries for a reason and those should only be crossed when you know how the other person will react.
