I was sent a couple of links to videos of cases where children are being removed from loving parents for asinine reasons. The first I looked at was, ahem, Austin. A woman gave birth to a baby girl. For two days she kept that baby with her, fed her, nursed her, every need taken care of. She's getting ready to leave the hospital, the doctors have

When my sister and Brother in law were living in the hotel it was an unfit home. They were making, selling & using crack. Remember, my sister did lose custody. All the folks that lived in that hotel (rather than just a few nights) were drug fiends. What was the back story for the previous CPS case?

Then again I know that CPS has placed 2 kids with a child molester rather than let them stay with their poor, but caring mother. Both cases in the same county.

according to the news briefs that were in the video...which I now cannot frickin find. I will have to look later when not yelling and children. Anyway, according to the new briefs included their was not a history of narcotic/alcohol abuse in the first case...the mother did say I've screwed up in life but had turned her life around. No, I don't think you can trust everything people say. She may have been lying. One would think, though, if the state were in the right they'd come out and sight REASONS for taking the newborn instead of refusing to comment.

I do believe there is absolutely a reason for such government services but I do believe they abuse the power given them.
