part 2
It was like braving a great river or sea as Tegoshi looked across the street. With his bag in hand he stepped out onto the hot pavement. It was sunny but with a fresh temperature. He thought about the letter he had received the day before. Today was the day; he was sure of it.
Yuya’s heart pounded with every step that brought him closer. Opening the back gate, he walked in on the scene of the pair playing basketball. From the look of it, they had been playing for a good length of time. Sweating, messed up hair, and a shirtless Koyama, Tegoshi had to do a double take. He watched them together, touching randomly, eyes filled with a determination that was solely male.
Tegoshi chuckled and wondered why straight guys wondered why they didn’t play sports. It was just awkward to have another hot guy bump against you, even more so if less then fully clothed. He wasn’t really sure how the two before him was controlling themselves. When Shige turned to pick up his bottle of water, he spotted Tesshi at the gate. With a smile, he motioned for him to come over. Yuya was glad that there really seemed to be no hard feelings.
“We just got done playing a game. You want to play?” Koyama told him as his chest heaved a tad, trying to fully catch his breath. Tegoshi’s eyes were forced to stare at his chest.
He blushed, “Nah, I’m good for now.”
Placing a cold bottle of water to his own neck, Shige sat down on the ground.
“Come sit, let’s talk for a bit,” said Shige as Keii sat down to Shige’s left, while Tegoshi sat to Shige’s right. “It’s been a week since you last showed up. I was beginning to think that you were never coming back.”
Tegoshi felt guilt running through him as Shige made his comment. He wanted to think that the younger boy was just being difficult with him, because he knew exactly why he didn’t come. So he thought it best to change the subject very soon. As he looked over at the boys beside him, he thought about what to say. So asking something he already knew, he would try to dig more into the mystery.
“I met your sister yesterday, Keii-chan,” Tegoshi said with a cute voice and an even cuter smile.
“Oh you did? I hope she treated you well,” Keii mumbled scratching the back of his head in slight confusion.
“Oh she was very nice. You two are just alike. I told her that too. Made her so happy,” Tegoshi went on watching the embarrassment creep onto Koyama’s face, “I hope I’ll be able to meet your parents.”
“That won’t be happening. They moved away a few years ago. Sis is the only one that lives there now,” was Koyama’s reply that sounded more serious then to Tegoshi’s liking.
“You mean you and her right? Or do you practically live here? What about your family, Shige?” Tegoshi sprouted questions like daffodils in the spring.
Keii was about to answer for Shige but the gentle grip Shige had on his lover’s hand stopped him.
“I’ll tell you the story then. My parents were in an arranged marriage. After they had me the came to find out they the really didn’t like each other. Even so my mother was a caring person that loved me very much. Still one day while out running errands she had an accident. Mom never came home after that,” Shige paused as a tremble racked his body as he tried to find the will to continue with his story. It was difficult for him, Tegoshi could tell, so in an act of comfort he just laid his head on Shige’s shoulder.
“After that Dad spent more and more time at work and on business trips. A year after mom died, when I was 12, Kei-chan moved in next door. We became best friends and he spent all his time over here so I won’t have to feel lonely.”
“Eh that sounds really nice,” Tegoshi said it in a cool tone that sounded sort of envious. He removed his head from Shige’s shoulder and placed it on his friend’s lap. He felt calm as he could feel Keii’ fingers running through his hair as Shige lightly caressed his arm.
“My mom has left and never come back too. She never loved me though; she really disliked how I got between her and Dad. She was always mean to me and pushed me around. Dad never knew about it, until that time when I was in Jr. High when he walked in on her after me with a pair of scissors. That really made Dad mad,” Tegoshi said it in such a calm way that is seemed surreal. The pair shared glances with one another.
“What happened to her Tesshi,” Koyama whispered lightly that showed concern.
“Dad said, ‘She is going to somewhere far way were the sun doesn’t even shine.’ Or so he said,” Tegoshi’s voice was reflecting his inner rage towards the woman that had been so cruel to him. “Her spirit haunts me, even now.”
There wasn’t much the pair could do, they didn’t doubt the claims. They had seen all the bruises that were completely unnatural. They felt the weight of guilt on their shoulders since the young man was so honest and open with them, but they still held their own secrets. They made their declaration as they communicated silently as they watched the strong boy that had offered his past to them. Before it was too late, Tegoshi wouldn’t be able to see them again, they would go ahead with the plans that they had made.
Like clockwork a raindrop fell on Tegoshi’s cheek. The boy looked up at the sky billowing with ominous clouds. The rain began to pour as if there were a waterfall overhead. The three boys jumped up dashing inside the back door that led into the kitchen. They shared glances at each other, all soaking wet, then smiles began to form, then giggles. Looking back outside Tegoshi saw his bag still sitting on the ground. Before he could even say a word to the other two, he was out the door running as fast as he could. They didn’t need to question him once he returned looking like someone had pushed him into a swimming pool with his bag of extra clothes, also wet.
Koyama and Shige began laughing so hard their sides ached. Yuya stood there, feeling so vulnerable under the gazes, but then he remembered he wasn’t the only one that was wet. He also joined in on the laughing because it felt natural to. So they traveled to the bathroom upstairs. With a huge pile of towels they began to undress, placing all their wet clothes into the laundry basket next to the bathtub. Strangely enough, all of them seemed comfortable undressing, getting naked in front of each other. Tegoshi would have assumed, if he had even cared enough to give it a thought, that it may have just been the atmosphere.
So for the time being, Tegoshi borrowed one of Shige’s shirts and a pair of Koyama’s pants, and Tegoshi really liked the notion of that. He followed Shige down to the laundry room to help place their wet heap of clothes into the dryer that was only used for rainy days. When they went back upstairs Koyama was already sitting on Shige’s bed, drying his hair with a fluffy white towel. He motioned for Tegoshi to come over to him by patting the open space between his legs. Tegoshi smiled thinking that he would most likely never refuse such a request from Keii-chan. So with a small blue towel, Keii-chan rubbed the towel through Yuya hair, trying to dry it as best he could. Once he though he had done enough, the towel was placed to the side and long tan fingers replaced it.
“Your hair is so soft Tesshi,” he giggled letting his fingers untangle the damp, brown mess. Tegoshi looked right at Shige who was standing on the other side of the room, tugging on the waistband of his sweatpants.
It seemed the trio was coming down from whatever natural high the rain brought about, and it was being replaced with that same awkwardness that hung over their heads. Tegoshi knew this could be cleared so quickly if they all gave in to temptation, but where is the fun if you can’t play along for awhile? That same smile, devious and potent black magic as it was, directed itself Shige’s way that meant that a challenge was answered. Shige stayed silence, but his eyes were large with surprise that even Koyama could see. He could even see that smile of Tegoshi’s in that sixteen year old Shige’s eyes. Maybe they had met their match in Tegoshi. Not that it was something that just came about, they knew when they sent that message to their friend, but it became clear that this wasn’t a time to turn back. It was already too late for that, maybe a long time ago.
And with a clap of Koyama hands, “Let’s have some dinner.”
Sometimes it is easier said then done. All three of them could make simple dishes but grand planner Keii-chan wanted to have a good meal, since it was the first time they were having a sleep over. So nothing ordinary would do; it had to be extremely good, or at least something extreme. Naturally since it was his house, Shige wanted to cook, one he was the host, two he was slightly afraid of the well-being of the kitchen. He was planning to do it all by himself but he was interrupted when Tegoshi chimed his name. Shige looked over to see Tegoshi, with hair pinned up, in frilly apron that almost made his nose bleed right on the tile floor. When Tegoshi asked if he could help, Shige couldn’t refuse him. After all, Tegoshi knew he wouldn’t dressed like that.
So finally bowls of miso soup, ramen, and rice were on the table with a large plate of fried chicken. They began to dig into their feast with the small side conversation. That part Tegoshi was used to by now. So the trio ate until they thought their stomachs were going to pop under the pressure. Keii-chan and Shige talked quietly as Tegoshi watched the rain fall out the window. It was still pouring outside, flooding the streets clean. It had started to pound so hard that he couldn’t hear the other two over the rhythmic patting on the roof.
Shige finally noticed that the third member of their party wasn’t listening to their conversation. As he stared at the boy who was daydreaming, “Tegoshi…”
The room was cloaked in darkness. The power had gone out. Tegoshi didn’t like the darkness… not one bit.
“Keii-chan, Shige, where are you guys?” Tegoshi’s voice was minuscule as it tried to cut through the blackness. He felt himself tremble as he slowly moved to find someone. Tegoshi felt a hand grab his wrist that caused him to shriek.
“Hey calm down Tegoshi. It’s me.”
“Shige?” Tegoshi leaned on the hope it really was his friend.
“Yes silly. Its okay the power just went out,” Shige said soothingly as Tegoshi clung to him. “Are you scared of the dark?”
Tegoshi nodded as he buried his head into Shige’s shoulder. With a smile Shige simply wrapped his arms around the other.
“Keii-chan can you go get the flashlight in the kitchen?” he asked looking at the spot where his friend had last been.
A light suddenly shined into his face, “Already did.” Shige could faintly made out some of Koyama’s features but not nearly enough. Koyama handed the flashlight over to Tegoshi.
“To keep the darkness away,” he whispered faintly into the other boy’s ear. “You two head up to the bedroom. I’ll grab some candles.”
“Wait… don’t you need some light?” Tegoshi asked sounding more brave now that he had the flashlight in hand.
“Nah I know my way around enough,” Koyama smiled at Tegoshi before patting his head. “You two get going. I’ll be up there in a minute.” He gently pushed them in the direction of the stairs. Shige wrapped his arm around the older boy’s shoulder as the beam of light in Tegoshi’s hands guided them. He felt protected in such a powerful way, not because he had a light to fight the darkness, but because Shige was protecting him. That fact alone gave him the courage to turn off the flashlight once they reached the other’s room.
“Is it okay with you having the light off?” Shige seemed concerned but tried to not let his voice show it. Tegoshi kept walking until his legs bumped into the bed softly.
“I’ll be fine. As long as you and Keii-chan are here to protect me,” Tegoshi whispered in such a way that urged Shige to come to him. So he did what the voice beckoned him to do, he stood right in front of his friend, so close he could feel him breathing. They way Yuya didn’t mind in the least showed him that it was about time.
Shige could feel the nervousness bubbling in the pit of his stomach. Without much time for being hesitant, like he normally was, he leaned in gently placing his lips against the other’s in a soft kiss. It was warm and sweet like honey melting ice-cream in the hottest days of summer. Shige licked his lips as if he could taste that honey coating his lips. He went back for more, this time more urgent then before. Tegoshi answered him back with feverish movements and pleasured sighs. Shige’s hands brushed Tegoshi’s sides even as Koyama entered the room with an arm full of candles.
“So they really are in this together,” Tegoshi thought as he pulled away to watch Koyama light the candles all around the room. It was peaceful with the warm orange glow the many candles gave off. He finally was able to look Shige in the eyes for the first time since dinner.
“I want to be with you, both of you. I want to love you both. So please, tell me straight about this plan you guys have,” Tegoshi’s words were honest with so much innocences that it hurt to think about it. So they all sat down on the bed, Tegoshi in the middle with Koyama’s arms wrapped around his middle. This was the part Shige was going to get shy, so he sat for a minute trying to think of what sounded right to say. Tegoshi was being unusually patient with him, maybe it was because they way Keii-chan was nuzzling his neck felt so nice.
“Keii-chan and I… we are lovers, and we love each other dearly but…” Shige started blushing finally admitting his feelings to someone besides Koyama.
“But?” Tegoshi asked with large eyes that made him look young and cute.
“He fell in love with you at first sight, and we both agreed to see if you would join us,” Koyama whispered into Tegoshi’s ear before delivering a small peck on the cheek.
“We didn’t know if you would accept us like this. We were also worried that you might like only one of us, and not the other,” Shige mumbled looking over at his lover. At that noticing Tegoshi placed his hand on Koyama’s thigh, stroking gently.
“Well I think I’ll make it clear that I’ll be with both of you,” Tegoshi said with a smile that reminded Shige of the honey flavored kiss. He licked his lips again wanting more, wanting to taste it again. He leaned in covering Tegoshi’s lips with his own. Tegoshi gasped as he felt the unexpected softness of Koyama’s lips on his neck, kissing and sucking at all his sensitive spots like he had done this to him before. He could feel the growing emotion inside himself that he couldn’t describe, it wasn’t the lust or the love, but something else. It was like some feeling of dread that he wasn’t going to see the two of them again, that this encounter was something sacred and ritual.
Still when Shige pulled back he questioned him with his eyes, but the other refused to answer. Instead he turned his head licking Koyama’s lips before inviting the other for a kiss. Shige took the time to throw his shirt to the floor as his hands under the under the shirt Tegoshi was wearing, his own shirt. He nuzzled the other’s neck as he hear the others kissing noisily and wet as their tongues twisted in Tegoshi’s mouth. Tegoshi’s hand on Keii’s thigh moved closer to his groin with each stroke. He let out a gasp as Shige pulled his shirt up, mouth attaching to one of nipples.
When a moan escaped Yuya’s lips, Koyama pulled back, giving Shige room to pull of shirt completely off the boy. The couple exchanged hunger looks before they both attacked their new lover’s chest with their mouths. Tegoshi fell back onto the bed under their ministrations of kisses, bites, and licks. His fingers were in someone’s hair but he wasn’t sure who. He felt someone’s fingers massaging his hip bones and moaned as the fingers disappeared under the waistband of the jeans he borrowed from Koyama. He called out their names in desperation. He received what he wanted when a hand cupped the bulge in the jeans. He looked down to see the pair kissing as Koyama rubbed his growing erection through the jeans with Shige’s hand soon joining. Tegoshi moaned again as he arched into the touch.
They grinned at the looked up at his flushed face as he tried to receive more friction. Yuya could vaguely hear Shige laugh about him having no patience, but he knew he was right. Lust was taking over his body, and he wanted the two of them to touch him, wanting more. Tegoshi tried to get more, moaning in a way that sounded more erotic then the other two would have imagined. Their resolve was running thin from just Tegoshi’s voice alone. They removed their hands, and Keii pulled the jeans off of Tegoshi.
Shige and Koyama began undressing each other as Tegoshi watched. His mind felt heavy as he watched their smiles and lingering touches. He joined them, taking off what he had left. They shared glances, wondering how to go further. Tegoshi ended up on his hands and knees in between Shige’s spread legs, mouth sucking hard on his length.
Koyama was behind him, at first preparing him with his fingers. Koyama was surprised how willing he pushed back on his fingers, showing no signs of pain. All it caused was more moaning that caused Shige more pleasant feeling. With his two lovers moaning and pleading, he couldn’t take it anymore. So they worked as clumsy was it and a mess of limbs as was to find some kind of sync. Shige came first under Tegoshi’s talented mouth. Koyama took as a sign as he entered Tegoshi’s at a faster pace while stroking his erection.
They came together soon, and clasped on Shige who didn’t have much of a care at the moment. They laid together on the bed while sharing sloppy kisses. Tegoshi laid his head on Koyama’s chest as Shige spooned him from behind, his arm wrapped around Tegoshi’s waist; Koyama’s long arm extended to go over both of them, like a wing of protection. Their breathing became even as their bodies calmed. Once Tegoshi was asleep, tears welled up in Koyama and Shige’s eyes. They let Tegoshi’s heartbeat lull them to sleep.

Light streamed through the window piercing Tegoshi’s closed eyes. On pure instinct he used his arm to cover his eyes. After a minute of trying to pretend the light wasn’t there he opened his eyes and stretched. He looked around trying to figure out where he was. Then the recollection of the night before flashed before his mind. He looked around to see he was the only one in Shige’s bed. Rubbing his eyes he looked again, still not there. He pulled the sheets closer, trying to cover up his nakedness. He noticed a chair with his now dry clothes set out for him. He padded over to it and found a note on top.
Tesshi~
We had to go to school. You looked too peaceful to wake so we left you there.
Sorry.
We love you!
Love,
Koyama & Shige
Tears dripped on the paper as he reread the note. He read it countless times, but the tears wouldn’t stop. The fear was shredding his heart into pieces. His body began to tremble as sobs racked his body.
“I’m not going to see you guys again, am I?”
