Graphics that I especially loved:

THE STORM IN THE BARN by Matt Phelan. I haven't read his AROUND THE WORLD yet, but very much want to, and expect it to be great.

CORALINE by Neil Gaiman, done as a graphic novel illustrated by P. Craig Russell

THE ARRIVAL by Shawn Tan

ROBOT DREAMS by Sarah Varon

THE PROFESSOR'S DAUGHTER by Joann Sfar, ill. by Emmanuel Guibert

Oh, thank you, Kelly!

I've read THE STORM IN THE BARN and loved it. I am adding the rest of these onto my list for my next trip to the library or bookstore!

I think my favorite graphic novel is American Born Chinese. I look forward to hearing what you think of Summer of the Swans. I loved that book.

Good luck with all resolutions!

I love American Born Chinese.

And I really like Summer of the Swans although it felt very dated now. It's interesting to read the winners in order and see the way the literature has changed. The books feel very representative of their time.
