Well, during last night's telecast the announcing team mentioned that Victorino used to be a prospect in the Dodgers system, and apparently L.A. had a couple of different opportunities to re-acquire him after originally trading him away.
Then, of course, he was right smack-dab in the middle of that attempted bean-ball brou-haha in Game 3.
And, most importantly, he always seemed to be the player to come up with the clutch hit throughout the series. Especially the game-tying HR in Game 4.
At one point in time in Game 5, I thought I heard Dodgers fans booing him as he came to the plate. And, as a funny little side story, there was a play late in Game 5, where the Dodgers catcher tried a snap throw to pick Victorino off of first, and the ball hit him in the ribs, and Aaron Mills and I, sitting in the sports office, both starting yelling "Hit me in the Ribs!" a full minute before the announcing team made the connection to the Game 3 dust-up.

As a side note... do you think Shane Victorino is "Public Enemy #1" in the Los Angeles area yet?

So, those are all of my Victorino-related notes.
Go Phillies!
