Still trying to keep my head above water. This has been a brutal year for myself and so many people I know. Finding work has been nearly impossible; the time of year combined with the lack of jobs has made things extra shitty around here. My boss came right and out said he doesn't care much about tax season, which is typically a peak time of year

So my husband is apparently worried about our finances. Sigh. But I did share it on Facebook, and I'll make a Tumblr post about it too. I don't have many followers, but the ones I do have would probably be willing to reblog it, and they have more followers than me, and maybe it would get out there and get attention.

So many people I know and love seem to have taken some nasty hits this year. Hopefully, since the world didn't end, the whole "Mayan Calendar" thing just means that the coming year will be wonderful and amazing for us all.

We were facing this very thing recently. It's a terrifying place to be and it sucks the life out of you. Try to keep your spirits up and relax and be good to yourself. I will continue to pray. I wish we could do more.
