I wish I could be working more, but that's not much of reality between sluggish hiring, resume/application rejections, and the economy around here. But damn, at least I'm limiting my exposure to sick people that way. The flu is really blowing up this season. Makes me glad I'm not out there with the coughing, sneezing masses. JFC. The flu is horrible this year. I am thankful to work in a department where I see surgical patients and not people sick with the flu. Though it seems about every other patient tells me they are recovering from something or have sick family members. So it is hard to stay away from it. So far so good. *crossed fingers*

Keeping fingers crossed for you! Lots of activity here in CA apparently. I was in CVS yesterday to grab some stuff on sale and avoided the pharmacy are like the plague...lots of sick people standing in line =(

Take two purring cats and apply as needed. Use until symptoms abate. If symptoms worsen, apply an additional purring cat. =)

I've had random cats sitting on/ near/ whining at me all day (the parts that didn't have me completely out of it). Now one is harassing me for my tuna sandwich while the other is ignoring me.
....bleah. Sick sucks. But kitties are cute.

Tuna? The last time I prepared tuna for His Orangeness while sick...oh, never mind. It wasn't fun; that's all I'll say *wg*

I have Nigel, but given his condition, I wouldn't say he's reliable :/ The little Neon was like a pogo stick, but it ran like hell and was great on gas.

It's a 1991 Volvo sedan named Nigel. =) He's getting very old and very tired; goes thru spurts where he just won't start and there are all kinds of leaks that would cost a fortune to fix. =(
