CHARACTERS: Heihachi, anyone who wants to join
SUMMARY: Who but Heihachi would make his first action in an unfamiliar place examining the machinery?
PLACE: Outside the lifts
TIME: Mid-morning
WARNINGS: None
Mind still a little fogged with drugs but thinking moderately clearly, Heihachi left the lift, supporting himself on the wall. "Checheche," he muttered to himself, rubbing the back of his ginger head to try and shake himself out of his dizzy state. Vaguely, he thought about the Capital with a measure of worry. He knew he'd taken out the engines effectively, thanks to the explosives the shikimoribito had given him; he just hoped that Katsushiro hadn't got himself killed too.
That was right, he thought, suddenly coming to himself fully. He'd died. He'd set off the explosives, and the last thing he remembered was hurtling towards the ground, crushed between two pillars, his body a mass of pain, with Katsushiro's face falling away above him. Well, the pain was gone now, and so was the airship, and so was Katsushiro, and so were all his normal clothes and equipment, including his sword.
He was shaken from his thoughts when, with a grinding noise, the dispenser he rested his weight on momentarily spat out a wodge of paper at him. Instantly, the engineer was crouching by the machine, the unread sheets on the floor beside him. He didn't haveany tools, but he was intrigued by the machine. He tapped it lightly to test its hollowness, waved a hand in front of the slot to see if it would produce another batch of papers, examined the shell to locate any hatches or doors that might enable him to look at the machinery,,,
