Dib was out looking over the hallway again, drawing a map of each floor and making a note of the places he would have to reinvestigate later. Unfortunately, there weren't many weak points, but that didn't matter too much. After all, he still needed to get more samples. He looked up, noticing the woman with pink hair coming in his direction, he didn't think he'd seen her before.

Sakura glanced down the hall. Some boy with black hair. Not Sasuke. Certainly not Naruto. She looked away and scooted closer to the lifts. She couldn't hit people, couldn't even defend herself. Not that a boy was much of a threat...

But still.

Dib saw her cross the hallway, a little worry on her face. If she was wary of him... Maybe it was because she knew he was on to something!

He looked at her, nonchalantly. "Hello, who are you?"

She glanced at him warily. Once a ninja, always a ninja. Obviously he didn't understand ninja paranoia.

"Haruno Sakura." She replied, looking past him down the hall.

He wasn't sure where he was meant to be going, really -- but staying at the -- whatever, screen, whatever, was weird and no one else seemed to be talking to him anymore. He was really a bit more freaked that he understood stuff pretty quickly, and also his head just, just translated Konoha into Hidden Leaves without even -- that wasn't good for village security! And he'd protect Konoha until the day he died, right!--but right now he just...had to get home ( ... )

Sakura almost didn't notice him but she saw him coming just out of the corner of her eye and spun in place. Her heart dropped a little. Any hope that this one was the same age as her fell out of place. He wasn't as young as Sasuke but certainly not as old as her.

"...How old are you?" She whispered. Why was everyone she knew from a different time than her. She really wished she could go kick something.

Deadly serious, now that he was facing her, Naruto watched her quietly.

"Fourteen," he said, "And Ero-sennin is still training me. Sakura-chan? I'm sorry for...not getting the teme back before. I'll train harder! But when...did you grow..."

A small grin began to grow.

"...you know...breasts?"

((ooc: Just to keep in with canon, seeing as, well, he doesn't have the oiroke no jutsu anymore.))

Sakura tilted her head. Fourteen looked right. A soft sad smile grew when he apologized and she opened her mouth to tell him that it wasn't his fault.

"...Naruto. You should know the only reason I'm not hitting you upside the head is because I'll shocked for doing it." She crossed her arms over her chest and scowled at him. How typical. Naruto would always be Naruto.

"I'm 16, of course I'm different." She said flatly and sighed, "We still haven't gotten Sasuke back in my time so I wouldn't have expected you to have done it yet."
