I was pretty similar to you in my results. I wasn't surprised at all though. I think working for the Democratic Caucus has changed the way I think about things to a certain extent. I also found some of the questions less then desireable in their phrasing...mostly didn't answer very extreme any of those.
I agree that question about black kids and college was pretty vague. Might have been easier to just say "Do you support affirmative action" since I'm pretty sure that's what they were angling for. It's interesting how some of my answers changed after my Macroeconomics class. For example, I'm NOT concerned any more than some companies are moving jobs overseas. Still I think the test pegged me as a little more economically permissive than I think I am.
