EZ Pass on the go - Virginia

It looks like Virginia doesn't have EZ Pass on the go (buy it retail with a deposit). Does anyone know if I can get one in Maryland and register it in Virginia? Or even register it in Maryland with a Virginia address

I can tell you from my personal Pennsic experience that it takes 24 hours to activate in Virginia and 48 hours before you can use it out-of-state.

So whatever you decide, decide it fast!

Perhaps someone can register you at the Herndon office tonight and you can pay them back?

From the friends-of-friends list here ... Maryland will charge you a $1.50/month service charge, so unless you want to pay $18/year, don't get an E-ZPass in Maryland (which does sell them at some supermarkets).
