Cross suspects you - and me, and Ema. He's going off of what Raven said about you playing it safe and not going after stuff like you'd normally would. He's not putting me up because he wants me to go along with a plan.
He trusts Elijah because he told Cross something pretty personal that he thought was related to that not-clue the Shepherd gave us, and he's worked with him in a previous game. Which means that if we both survive tonight, we can't go after that guy, because then my ass'll look suspicious.
I'm that first vote on Ema - I think he's aiming to get both you and Ema up if you don't follow along either, so he'll probably want to talk to you in private if you aren't already talking to him.
