CFUW 131 - Wolves

[The ceiling is much lower here, the room much smaller, and it seems more... concrete. There are several tables around with computers set up on them, although they all seem to be powered down except for one, which has a chat window open to your shepherds.

Although they'll probably be in and out as well.]

There's already a vote on Rika, which is pretty interesting, but I'd rather whoever's voting save that suspicion for later on. So, if it's possible, after we solve the next clue, I'm going to try to nudge people toward voting on that one instead.

Subtly.

You know.

If either of you want to disagree with me, feel free, but try not to be too convincing, okay?

Otherwise, I'm going to try opening some private posts with different people. Hopefully that will come in handy. It might not be a bad idea to have a dummy private post with one or the other of you guys, either.

Does this jive? Thoughts? What are you guys up to?

I have similar thoughts. I'll have to be careful about arguing to focus on today's clue rather than yesterday's, lest I draw attention to myself.

I'm wondering if the vote on Rika isn't from that girl, Tiffany. She appears to be especially new to the game; she might be inclined to vote early that way. I'll see about opening a post with her today.

That sounds good. I don't think I've talked to her.

I can't say I'm totally unhappy with the clue. I was worried Lee would be in it. It'd be a hard sell to make him look suspicious at this point.

Garrus, you might want to lay low. People won't know as much about you, and I'm pretty sure we can get Rika ousted tomorrow, if we're lucky.

Today... we'll want to make sure we don't vote as a block. I think if I were a sheep, I'd be most interested in seeing Lambdadelta and Guy in ousting, and go from their. Chie just isn't pinging me as suspicious in a way we can use. I do think we might be able to get Lambdadelta ousted though, if we're lucky.

If she's around later, I'll invite her to a private post too. I'm talking to everyone, so I might as well. Maybe she'll give us something we can work with there? Otherwise, she seemed to back peddle when she was talking about why that early vote may have came in. Her logic seemed kind of convoluted and wolfy, so we might be able to use that.

Anyone else's thoughts would be super awesome, because I am totally winging this.

Eugh, I'm feeling out of it today, laying low will be simple enough. If Lambdadelta pops up again I will speak with her, though.

That sounds fair. Go ahead and concentrate on feeling better.

Time is creeping up on me. Who did you vote on the poll?

Please let me know who you will be eating tonight once you've all decided.

Unless someone else has an objection, I think we're eating Lee.

That makes sense. He's pretty smart.

I think we're doing pretty well so far.

If I go up again, I think Rika has done a good job of making herself out to be a wolf.

I think so too. That's why I'd like to focus on your clue tomorrow. Hopefully everyone else go along with it.

My locked post with Lee has him seeming suspicious of Rika and more confident of you. Obviously that doesn't make it right, but I think I'll look over the whole post to make sure I don't come off as suspicious and unlock it for the game either tonight or tomorrow.

At this point, my theory for wolves is going to be Rika and Guy. I might field that with Chie and you, Garrus, depending on how locked posts and other threads go.

They might object to splitting the vote across two days' worth of clues. But if you can sell it, I think that works.

From my conversation with Tiffany, in case we need her thought process:

If Garrus was a wolf, it would not matter to him who was ousted in the first round because Rika and Ankh would both have been sheep.

Accelerator, Lamba and Lincoln were definitely sheep, so their votes in the first ousting were probably guesses. Ankh was a sheep--I'll admit my mistake now for casting suspicion on him.

It's when you look at the second ousting poll that the first four people who voted on Lamba bar Lincoln that Chie starts to look more like a contender.

...That's some thought process.

I uh, I actually had a bit of a problem following it, but that's kind of okay with me.

Anyway, here's the rest so far:

acivilservant wrote:--Sorry, contender for what? I think I'm not really following you.

runstowardsfire wrote: Potentially a wolf, I mean.

acivilservant wrote: Ahh. Because of the people voting on Lambda?

runstowardsfire wrote: The suspicion then shifts to Rika and Chie because they're potentially wolves.

So uh, honestly I'm not sure who she thinks is suspicious, right now. I feel like she's trying to maybe trap me into pointing her towards somebody -- and then she'll use my willingness to scapegoat other people to further think I'm a wolf, since I'm pretty sure she does. I'm trying to be sort of, uh... supportive but non-committal.
