Interesting cat purring theory

Interesting theory about purring in the magazine from PetPlan. Cats obviously purr when they are happy. They also purr when they want something but solicitation purring has a high pitched element to communicate urgency. (This is cunningly of a frequency similar to a baby's cry.) It's certainly an interesting theory. The ultra-sound seemed to be the most beneficial thing of any of the stuff the physio I had did. Beyond that... too far out of my realm of expertise to speculate.
