it has been a long rocky week. one filled with being sick, bad test grades and scary medical news about a friend. but hopefully this retreat tonight will give me some clarity in my life. i just need to go and forget about everything, get stronger and come back and deal with these issues.

so i went to the clinic yesterday after 3 weeks with this cold that just keeps coming back and with my sore throat, that makes it extremely difficult to swallow. so they gave me some medicine and a nasal spray (which is really gross). but i woke up this morning with a red, itchy, and stuck together by the nastiness eye. so i think i have pink eye ( Read more... )

can we stop putting more dirt on the hill??

i have been adding dirt to my mountain for 7 months and 9 days now and it doesnt seem to be stopping anytime soon. its times like these where i just want to go and sit on a hill over looking a beautiful scene and cry til i cant cry anymore...

i wrote this awhile ago, but i was reminded of it today. my newest saying is "In the end it all comes down to love." I also heard an awesome homily last weekend when we were in Easton, PA from the priest there. It was all about love.
