I'm a little depressed and very bored. Ehh, what's new. Ohh, I have an interview at Circuit City at Great Lakes Crossing. Thursday.. That should be lots of fun. Right... Well we'll see how that goes. Hmm.. Someone should message me or call me or something. It would at least give me something to do ( Read more... )

Alright, well that was misunderstood. Now think of "Reason" as being "Good Judgement" or "sound sense". The ability to think logically. Not the reason for emotion.

Now let's try this one more time. How does Emotion affect Reason and vice versa.

Emotion can affect reason by taking over. For example we all know that I try to be reasonable but i often follow my emotions instead. Which is the root of most of my problems.

As unfortunate as that is Dez. It may be in your case. It's one of those things I envy. I wish I could follow my emotions like that.

Now if you take into consideration a situation along the lines of. Ohh, I hate to use the examples Nick and I did.. I don't mean this personally. So here it goes. Someone deciding to give up a child for adoption because they know they are not mentally or financially at a point in their lives where they cannot take care of it. Which the reasonable choice in the matter would be to give it up. The emotional choice would be to keep it anyways. So are they proportionate to each other? When one goes up does the other go down? In that situation you are highly emotional. Yet, people still make both choices.

I apologize Desiree. This was the example we used almost a year ago. It isn't meant toward you at all so please don't take any offense in it. I've already told you that I thought you should keep your child and I personally would have been disappointed with you had you not chosen to.
