Well, ok, I did just feel like a whole lot of nothing happened, to be frank. Every few chapters there'll be a o_o chapter that you want to read over, though not always for the right reasons... It has kind of been getting worse, and fangirls will be fangirls and twist things to the way they want to see it. Let's hope she realises and gets better eventually. -_-; Or... *pokes the Japanese fans*

Maybe this is why some people quit after TYL and are just keeping it that way...
Or well, more than maybe. -_-; It just... is.

I dunno. IMHO the art has been getting whackier sometimes. -_-

(IDK how this can be three days old... OTL)

I agree with everything you said in that first paragraph... =A= Argh, it used to be good fun...

I feel like I should've quite after the Future Arc too...

The art makes me feel like she's getting rushed and doing overly-flashy-looking panels to keep our interest...reminds me of the ending of Tsubasa. Had no idea what was going on; there were just a lot of magic circles and explosions.

Hey, I know this is like, three months late, and I really don't know how I ended up here, but... nivek01 March 26 2011, 09:28:57 UTC
...I have to agree. On multiple points. Because yes, the illusionists seemed to keep being shoved to the side ( ... )

This reply is, uh, also late. (For me, at least.) ^_^" ch1ps0h0y April 6 2011, 04:20:38 UTC
Mukuro was looking to be the best character out of all them because he was so different. But no, he's conveniently stuck in a prison so Amano doesn't have to worry about much besides having him pop up to go, "I WANT YOUR BODY, TSUNAYOSHI." Speaking as someone who has role-played Mukuro for more than a year, I feel sure in saying that there's a lot of potential to take his character any way. He's almost like Byakuran in that their motivations for what they're doing could be so much deeper than simply hatred for the Estraneo's human experimentation or some unknown want to obtain the trinisette (she never did explain why Byakuran wanted those...).

I also hope Amano is going to show Chrome to be a stronger character because I hate seeing girls shoved into the role of damsel in distress for no good reason.

Unfortunately my own fanfiction writing seems to have hit a low point. Not a drop of inspiration anywhere... Maybe my brain's shut-down because of the recent horribleness that is the Shimon arc.

Psh-I'd actually thought you'd never reply and felt horrible for intruding in your journal >.> nivek01 April 6 2011, 04:33:54 UTC
When I first read the Kokuyo arc, I'd thought for sure that Mukuro was going to be the classic first shonen villain, go on some path for redemption off screen, and come back to be one of Tsuna's most powerful allies; and I had no problem with that because he was an original character, like you say. And I'd thought that's exactly what happened when he popped back up in the ring battles, but since then, his character has just gone down the drain. Though I don't roleplay, I do think I have a good handle on both Chrome and Mukuro's characters, so it irks me that they've been cheated out of any depth-Chrome is now a damsel, and Mukuro is frankly an ass in canon ( ... )

I always reply (eventually). >.<" No need to feel bad. ch1ps0h0y April 6 2011, 04:47:51 UTC
When he reappeared during the ring battle I still saw some hope for him - since it seemed he didn't accept the position as Guardian to possess Tsuna but for his comrades. But ever since then, I have to agree with you. Ten years later: has he changed? Not that we can see. Fans being fans can assume that he's still denying he has any humanity in him but really, what basis do we have from Amano that he's anything other than a bastard apart from that ONE TIME during the ring battles? It is my belief that after ten years following Tsuna, Mukuro would mellow out even just a little bit but I think Amano would have us believe differently. And we don't even see Chrome in the future arc. Fans have simply assumed she is a stronger personality (probably judging from the art and other little inconsequential things ( ... )
