The classic story. Someone is leaving nasty messages and horrible comments on my LiveJournal, nothing to a point that's scary but just offensive and rude. Can you help me out with some ideas of how to find out who this person is???
Hi. The same thing happened to me a while back. The best thing is to ignore him, though mine never went away until I went off on him and said foul things about his mother and various.... If someone is creapy and following you online, probably the last thing you want to do is take it into the personal relm. He's probably some lonely jackass with nothing better to do. Block him from posting. Maybe go friends only. Or even do as you said you would on your lj... set up a new one, delete the old, and odds are he'll never find you.

if the latter, make sure you have IP logging turned on. go to whois.sc/their.ip.address and see if it looks familiar. post it here if you want some help.
if they are posting as a logged in user, there are ways to ban users from your LJ. look up "ban username comment livejournal" on google.
