It’s been a long time since I dyed my hair black, but this time, I did it for my role as a detective. The role that I am playing, Kirishima Ryuuta, is a hot-blooded character who acts before he thinks. Among the roles that I have played so far, this might be the role that is closest to me. I was also able to meet up with the staff of ‘My Boss, my hero’ after a long time and I was told ‘It’s been a long time! You look even greater than before!’ Filming is going to start again but it’s going to be fun.

Since the role I play is a hot-blooded detective, there are lots of action scenes. I ran a lot for yesterday’s shooting too~. I have lots of confidence in my physical fitness and was not tired at all (lol). There was a scene filmed yesterday in which I chased after a criminal, and struggled with him before arresting him. At that moment, I pushed the person playing the role of the criminal down, and hit him with all my might (lol). But since it’s realistic to do this at that point of time in the scene, it’s OK. I cause a lot of disturbance with my voice and actions in this drama, but it feels good. It’s a piece of work in which I can laugh and enjoy reading the script, so I highly recommend this drama to you!

On-site report

Filming today takes place at a café in Tokyo. First of all, starting from the first scene in episode 1, Tegoshi, Tabe Michiko and others make their way orderly through the space between the seat and the wall. It was a simple move, but due to the heat in the café, the actors starting perspiring. “What’s with this movement, I’m soaking wet.” Ishizuka Hidehiko said, perspiring profusely. Tegoshi and the others smiled, it was a heartwarming scene. Due to the rehearsals, the cast was able to move around the narrow space smoothly. “Seems like you’ve all gotten used to the movements (lol), try making it seem a little harder to move around…” the cast attentively listened to the director’s advise on their movements. Right after that scene, the cast moved outdoors to film the scene in which they enter the café. It was 23 degree Celsius outside. Feeling warm, Ishizuka took off his outer garment. Tegoshi, with his coat on and standing next to Ishizuka, chatted with the fellow cast members. “You visit the ‘Sekai no Hatte Made, ItteQ’ film site occasionally, right?” Tegoshi smiled gently as he asked the reporter.
