Amen to everything you said here bb :| *LOVES*

And to this part: because no matter how much i try to distract myself in fandom, it just doesn't work.? It's so true, it hurts :(

But yay that you're all okay and your house wasn't touched :) Let's pray for all those who haven't replied yet ♥

I totally share your sentiments bb. I've donated stuff at SM Muntinlupa and it just doesn't feel enough. I can't pry myself away from checking Ondoy-related stuff at Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook (even if I'm not active at said sites) and I just want to be out there right now helping people.

This is the first time I've ever felt like this. And yeah, it's not easy getting over it even if I'm not one of those badly affected (although I was caught in the middle of it, but I was lucky that I was only stranded for 11 hours!)

A friend of mine's a resident at Provident Village and they've lost everything too. Back to zero. Talking to her was really heartbreaking. :'(

But let's stay strong bb. Babangon at babangon ang Pilipinas. <3

i know. donating really isn't enough talaga. i want to go to abs-cbn nga e, dun sa warehouse nila and help with the repackaging. sila kasi yung overflowing ang donations kaya kailangan talaga ng volunteers, unlike yung ibang places na nababalitaan ko na may surplus of volunteers.

i'm really glad nakauwi ka. if you stayed longer at lasalle it would've been worse, cos i heard the floods at taft got really bad that night.

we pinoys are amazing. we're gonna get through this. ♥

Yun din yung problema ko -- san magvovolunteer. Heard sa La Salle surplus of volunteers na rin. If you get a hold of places na kelangan ng manpower, let me know! <3

Sabi nga ng friend ko dapat daw ngstay na lang ako sa La Salle that time, pero buti na lang umalis na ako habang maaga. Nung madaling araw daw hanggang bewang pa rin yung baha dun. >.>

Yes, tayo pa. World class ang bayanihan natin, sabi nga sa Tumblr. Sobrang infectious talaga yung spirit of helping despite the Ondoy calamity. :D

sa abs! you want to go? kasi naghahanap pa ako ng kasama :D i'm trying to confirm pa if i can go tomorrow (later? lol) or else i'd free up thurs or fri. i'm having a hard time looking for people to go with eh. but mind you, i just have a vague idea how to go to examiner st. it's near quezon ave station of mrt :3

yeah. i heard from twitter that lots of people got stranded and were food-less in lasalle, so i was relieved that you got home. for me kasi it doesn't matter how many hours i'm stranded, i just need to get home.

yes ♥ ika nga ng tumblr, it's our proudest moment to be a filipino :)

*hugs* I'm glad to know that you and yours are all right. So far, everyone I know who has family in the Philippines seems to be doing okay, thank God.
