The Malnosso are the ones responsible for keeping us within this barrier and performing these kidnappings and experiments on us. There is no set timeframe for the individual kidnappings, and victims are often returned with different and very strange effects.

He's a little suspicious too, but than it could just be coincidence. She could've just been kidnapped by the Malnosso. People disappear from the village all the time like that. That's not to say he won't be monitoring what the Shredder says or does, however.]
