Hello, I am Arielle and I am the new Writing Professor. I'm a member of Hufflepuff house and this is my first time as a Professor. I have a few ideas for assignments and whatnot for this term and hope to get a good response from everyone

4) Do you tend to write more fan fiction or original fiction? Lately I've been on the fan fiction kick.

6) What do you do when you have writers block? I usually read more fan fiction and see if I can get some plot bunnies.
7) Which HP characters do you like to write about the most? I like to write about the evil people. Especially the Death Eaters.
8) How do you feel about getting constructive criticism? Do you want as much as you can get, little bits but not too much, or absolutely none? I like getting a little bit of criticism. I don't want to be bombarded with it without getting one or two compliments.

3) How long have you been writing?
Well, I've been attempting novels since I was ten, but I've been "writing" since I was five. So if you only count novels, three years, but if you count everything then it's eight.

4) Do you tend to write more fan fiction or original fiction?
Actually, I find it difficult to write fan fiction. I feel so much more confined then I do with original work.

5) Do you read more or write more?
Read. Though I'm an aspiring author so I do both extremely often.

6) What do you do when you have writers block?
I take a step back, make comfort foods and put on inspiring music/read inspiring poetry and or books. I usually tell myself, keep writing! No matter how terrible it is, just keep writing. You can fix it later, but the important thing is to kick this block. So I challenge myself to write without pausing for at least fifteen minutes twice a day.

7) Which HP characters do you like to write about the most?I love writing with Luna. She's such a crazy, off-the-wall character

3) How long have you been writing? For about a year now.
4) Do you tend to write more fan fiction or original fiction? A little bit of both, but I'd rather right fan fic than original fic.
5) Do you read more or write more? I do both evenly.
6) What do you do when you have writers block? All the time!
7) Which HP characters do you like to write about the most? George, Remus, Snape, Minerva, Albus (back when he was still alive *cries*), Harry, Ginny, an OC, Ron, and Hermione.
8) How do you feel about getting constructive criticism? Do you want as much as you can get, little bits but not too much, or absolutely none? As much as I can get. It helps me improve my writing.

3) How long have you been writing? Writing in general? Since I was about four Mom taught me the basics at home, but I've been telling stories since I could talk.

4) Do you tend to write more fan fiction or original fiction? Fanfiction.

5) Do you read more or write more? Read. Way way more.

6) What do you do when you have writers block? Stop writing, maybe work on something new. Or ask one of my good online friends for help. For example, Lynne and Sarah, not in this comm, have both read Harry Potter, so I can ask them; "What do you think so and so would do in this scenario? What do you think should happen next?" I don't know anyone that's read DragonLance so the story I was working on for that series is... on hiatus.

7) Which HP characters do you like to write about the most? I adore Hermione, at least as far as shipping goes. At the moment, I'm loving Percy, because I kind of understand him more. Snape is someone I love writing, although, since I'm nowhere near his age and I don't think he

3) How long have you been writing? Without being... about four years. Before that it was all schoolwork which I loathed.
4) Do you tend to write more fan fiction or original fiction? At the moment, fanfiction. I tend to start alot of fanfics but not finish them. I'm slightly better at keeping on with original fanfiction.
5) Do you read more or write more? Read.
6) What do you do when you have writers block? Turn the computer off. :) I get extremely stressed when I get the dreaded block, so I just walk away.
7) Which HP characters do you like to write about the most? Harry mostly. Although I tend to write fics involving all the characters.
8) How do you feel about getting constructive criticism? Do you want as much as you can get, little bits but not too much, or absolutely none? Somewhere between as much as I can get, and little bits. I don't like being told all the ways in which I went wrong, but I can be gracious if I think they've got a point.
