Even though I didn't really like Holly Black's fairy books, I decided to give White Cat a try since it's part of a new series and the premise is pretty interesting. Also, look at the cover of this edition. Isn't it lovely? I'm not sure if it's the UK edition but it's available in trade paperback in Fully Booked for

I just read this (literally today) and I have to say, I have reasons why I didn't love this book, but mostly, I just - didn't like it. Even with the reasons, it just wasn't my thing. *trying to form more coherent thoughts*

It seems like we felt the same way. I liked better than Holly Black's fairy books but I didn't love it either. In general, YA urban fantasy isn't my thing.
