I totally agree. I was really enjoying the show but then I started getting really bothered by the Disney references. But then I realized Disney owned ABC so that kind of toned down the unsettled feeling, but only kind of.

I agree with you! I really enjoy Once Upon a Time, but I find their reliance on the Disney versions of the fairy tales sort of odd since they're not the original versions. I mean, I get it because it is on Disney-owned ABC and the Disney versions are more "pop culture"...but, still. O_O I'd love for there to be more emphasis on the original fairy tales and not just the Disney versions. XD

I think one of the main things is that the"creators"/"writers" of OUAT are unoriginal and uninspired.
