Okay, so, a couple of weeks ago, we had to write a sonnet. For the unknowing ones, a sonnet goes ABABCDCDEFEFGG, and has ten syllables in each line. Well, I wanted mine to have some element of reality in it. I thought I would share it with you all.
If there was one word I could whisper
In order to get her to be with me
To be able to finally kiss her
No matter if the word was bad, ugly
Or even the prettiest word to say
I'd open my mouth for the longest time
And for me that would be great and okay
Because I would know that she is all mine
She doesn't understand how deep I care
I just wish that she would realize that I
Am so much that he is, but they're
Going to be together while I cry
I know that in my heart I love her
And this love is stronger than his, I'm sure
I wrote another one that isn't reality-inspired, but it's at school. You know.. love is a wonderful thing, unless it's simply a one-way street. Then it just kinda hurts. But, I'm going to have a full plate next week: Monday, I'm going to start working with Mrs. R. on the AMS QuizBowl team. Then, Tuesday, we're going to the U of M to tape an episode of High School Challenge for WFUM [PBS]. Wednesday is our final meet, where we play a team from the other league. Yes, how wonderful? I think I may change this temporarily to a Christmas theme. Would that offend any of you?
Mosher... out!
