We would comment occasionally, give each other feedback on stuff and it was generally an enjoyable thing for me to write about stuff in my life, my realizations, goals and minor drama. Unfortunately, that's the pro/con of LJ. It's your journal, to keep all your private thoughts and desires.....that's open to the rest of the world.
But definitely set up some groupings, like anything that frustrates you about certain DC people will only get broadcasted to people who live outside of the DC/VA/MD area, and anyone in the area you trust not to go running their mouth.
Don't be afraid of your comfort zone.

I had noticed that you weren't posting the "big posts" anymore lately - it certainly is a balancing act isn't? Sometimes I just tell myself "screw it" and post the heavy stuff anyhow.
