103.6 Fever at its highest, now its bouncing around between 102.5 and 103, so soar I can barely stand up. I've heard good things, though I have no experience with the program. It's at least something until you can get actual insurance.

(1) It sounds like you might have food poisoning--you're describing how I felt when I ended up with salmonella once. (And you're right about the hospital thing--it was four IV bags before I could go home.)
(2) Talk to me about getting a health insurance policy in DC. I know a bit from when I had to do my own coverage (which is still the case). You should have a decent chance of getting one through CareFirst.
