Well...I am back in one piece (actually got home LAST nite but I needed to catch up on a little sleep!). However...I really wish I never had to come back. I could easily spend a happy lifetime just sightseeing the wonderful places we have in this country. Yeah...just me and my thoughts. Oh yeah...and the $120 worth of illegal fireworks I just HAD to buy. Thank god there were no really hot days!

I can kinda relate. When I was racing and had both bikes in the back of the truck and all the gear...I sure did get the looks! Everything from 6 year old kids to middle aged women would stare as we went by them. I am more or less "wallpaper", preferring NOT to be noticed. But even I have to admit...it WAS fun!

I only got 2 pics of any of the guys...one I know personally who did really well (he also WON the indoor Arenacross in Las Vegas last year) and another of the nation's best 85cc rider. I stood next to him the entire awards ceremony, and finally got enough nerve to ask for a pic. He is a Suzuki factory rider, and was given a brand new 250F for his advancement to the "big bikes" after this race. I got the pic of him with the new bike. Sigh...
