btw, i agree that the stuff going on in the middle east is amazing. my take on all this: i'm starting to think bush really is a man of the faith, and God's working through him. i know this might piss u and ur readers off, but from all accounts of his behavior in office, he's just authentic about his faith. so God's able to work through even his mistakes.
however, neocons like krauthammer are idiots. they think just b/c their colossal errors were followed by hopeful signs in the area means that they somehow caused them. total dumbfuckers, those signs are happening IN SPITE OF the invasion, not BECAUSE of it. anybody remember abu ghraib? there's ZERO evidence that anything they've done or advocated has in any way helped the situation.
it's like this: thomas friedman was right, the neocons were wrong, and bush is blessed.

what bugs me is that the neocon worldview seems to have infected the 'liberal' media, so that they (and thus, the american public) are seeing the world through that lens.
