i didn't mean to come off sounding like i was angry at you. you don't have anything to apologize about, and i should be the one to apologize for going off on you like that when you're expressing your opinion. i haven't had time to read thru ur blog recently, and i didn't mean to smack u down like that. i'm angry with this fuzzy pseudo-pacifism that i see crippling the democratic party. this: http://www.tnr.com/doc.mhtml?i=20041213&s=beinart121304 is what i'm talking about ( ... )

Yeah, Obama is great. But he is a freshman senator. No way will he win. I understand the desire to get fresh ideas and drive, though.

Of course, he has more Washington experience than Dubya did but that won't matter.

and screw this "freshman" label. we live in a meritocracy. our last successful candidate came from arkansas...
