i've been on such a high dose of steroids for so long that my face is now big and swollen. :(

i hadn't realized it until yesterday when my sister said to me, "wow, your face looks like it got fat again. like, all swollen and stuff."
i know that once i taper off the steroids it will go away, but it feels funny. truly. -

omg my knees are THROBBING.
tuesday night my feet and ankles started to hurt. by wednesday morning i could barely hobble around. today, they're much better, but my knees are throbbing and angry. i have a feeling the pain is going to slowly work its way up my entire body. i'd like it much better if it just finished with my knees and went away. -

quick update
my skin is skin again! the second round of vasculitis was so different than the first. i think it was worse, actually. it lasted much, much longer. it came on slowly, worsened slowly, and in stages, and healed very slowly. well, each stage took a while to heal, but when it happened it was literally overnight ( Read more... ) -

in happier news, i had a brueggars seven-layer bar this afternoon. it was SO. GODDAMN. DELICIOUS. and it made me want to bake. everything. i need to buy supplies and bake up a storm. omg.

in order to create some positive cash flow, i'm very strongly considering becoming a party lite consultant. or there's wow green!, that two of my cousins are involved in. that one has quite a bit of up-front money investment, but my cousins were each able to recoup within a month or two, so they're all profit now ( Read more... ) -

the past few days my hands have exploded in vasculitis, and it's creeping around and coming back on other parts of me, and it's been painful, and i've been thinking. maybe one or both of my meds isn't a high enough dosage because of my weight. yeah, lupus made me lose 40 pounds without trying, but i'm still a fattie. and i know that doctors tend to ( Read more... )
