So here i sit, for at least the fifth time. Trying to write the answers to my personal profile (aka admissions essay) for the social work program that I'm trying to get into for next fall. People in life are screwed up, that's why there is a program like the one you are going into. Honestly, I'd be worried if the people they are looking to get into the program are ones that lived with mom/dad all their lives and are 'perfectly well-adjusted.' Seems to me they are looking for people like you...ones that got dealt the shit end of the stick and who is able to constantly reevaluate life/meaning.
I say you throw it all out there...most significant exp? hell, pick one...gay, teenage pregnancy, marriage/divorce...
Obviously the person who has had the most impact on your life is me...like so totally! Sure, we've only known each other for a few years, but those were crucial years man!
oh yeah, and for #5...I say you just deny it ALL....deny, deny, deny....then erase any record of this lj posting!
