We adventured today and made the most of every rare minute. He likes walking the paths and enjoying the scenery but today I decided to show him what I like to do; venture into the deep. Ah, I miss nature walks so very much! Matt and I always found such wonders along the way. The bone stuck in the tree however is one of the oddest treasures! At least you have a photograph of it. Perhaps, it's better that it stays there in that place. I wonder what the story is there. The mystery is half the fun. It makes a neat opening for a NaNo novel idea.

Oh you did NaNo as well? :D I completed it last fall but really doubt I'll have the time this year. I agree though, it's the strangest thing! We have theories ranging from a very violent death to coyote pups playing tug of war with a carcass and...well not children's novel types of ideas, haha.

Brave, or too full of pride? ;) He did mention not wanting to go through because of shorts but since I was wearing shorts too...well he only protested once, haha. There wasn't much, promise, I just grabbed that pocket of light to take the shots. :D
