"Hey, doesn't Sayoko's family own a yacht?" Megumi asked Keiichi, over dinner at the temple.
"It's more like a large power boat," Keiichi said, "but, yes. Why?"
"It made the front page of the college newspaper." Megumi said. She pulled out a copy and handed it to him over the table.
"Whoah!" Keiichi said, as he read the paper, and as Belldandy and Urd read over his shoulders. "It sank!?"
"Is Sayoko alright!?" asked Belldandy.
"Yeah," Urd said, "there's a picture of her, from after she was rescued from her sinking ship. She looks like a drowned rat!"
Keiichi continued reading. "The authorities suspect foul play- they actually found several large holes drilled in the hull!"
"Keiichi?" said Belldandy. "That's the same boat that almost ran over us while we were out in the rowboat. Um, you didn't... did you?"
"Of course not!" Keiichi said. "And I know that you wouldn't do something like that. But..."
Everybody turned to Urd.
"What!?" Urd said, holding up her open hands in protest. "*I* didn't sink it-"
As if on cue, a large old-fashioned brace and bit cartoonishly fell out of Urd's loose sleeves.
"Urd?" said Keiichi. "Your story is full of holes."
