I have only the vaguest idea that Loveless is about catboys who lose their ears with their virginity but nonetheless I love reading your fic for it. (Usually with no clue as to who any of the characters are.)

Thanks. :) I was just reading an article about addiction in NYT magazine. It seems like these days everything is genetic, geeze. In the last section Ritsuka (a catboy) is thinking about Soubi (a masochist, but not because of genetics).

I really like these snippets of Ritsuka and his therapist. I feel for this kid every time I watch the anime and read the manga. What a life, and he isn't even a teenager yet. *hugs Ritsuka again*

It killed me a little when he said "lots of kids come from homes like mine" in the first chapter/episode. SO HORRIBLE. But of course Ritsuka's life is even worse than that, he has amnesia, a masochist for a boyfriend, a sadist for a brother, and people are always trying to kill or injure him! Poor kid.
