"Perform now, lose control later." - This sentence was already the peak for me, I had to watch out to not squeal in the train :P
The funny part is that some scenes are way different from the play and others are like 100% accurate to what I saw and that makes it so interesting to read it! *___*
"There’s absolutely no sound around them, an eerie silence clouding his thoughts." - THIS IS SOOOO ACCURATE!!! I soooo remember how the silence in this whole scene almost killed me! I forgot to breath in between *___*
It's so cute how Taiga hesitates to accept Yu's offer to drive him, but I can understand him when it seemed like there is no responds >."It’s ok, he tells himself. It’s ok, Rudolf. You’ve found your own Death to dance with." - this was exactly what I was thinking while reading the dream part (I think it is a dream, right?) with Death and Taiga!!! I can't wait for all the scenes from the Magic AU, but this seemed like a really sweet and innocent prequel and it made me really happy :D
Even without a last dialog it is a very nice last scene, I was sooo happy for them ^///^

You write angst so well! The confusion, the pain, and the longing is so clear and so understandable. And I love how it switches between Tod/Rudolf and Shirota/Taiga. And I am SO GLAD they both ended happily *stares accusingly at you*. Ahahaha, sorry, I really do like your sad stories too. Well someone still died but at least Rudolf is happy :DDD There are many parts I liked~ You have very good English XDD

hmmm not exactly sequel to that, but this pairing exists in the sequel of the magic au I've sent you, and I'm gonna write it much more detailed than I did here ;) Although tbh, I woke up this morning and had an idea for a smutty oneshot with these two, so...who knows *smirk*

I have never read Shirota in fics, but yours gave me the same vibes I get when I see him in interviews and stuff :333
And the whole ambiance and the whole mood, it gave me /chills/ I felt how broken Rudolph was , the despair and the warmth of death and GAH the paralel. And GAH GAH dsdasdassdadsa.
