Fictober 2019 Day 20 - Prompt: Movie Night
Title: Movie Night
Pairing: Iwamoto Hikaru / Meguro Ren
A/N: Day 20 of the Fictober Challenge I decided to try (here) .
Day 20 - Movie Night
“Ok, I’m not doing this, I’m not watching that movie, you can’t make me!”
“Huh? Come on, we made a deal, flipping that coin to decide, we did it 3 times and I still won! You can’t get away from it!”
“You did not tell me we were going to watch a horror movie, I’m not watching it!” Hikaru shrieks again, taking quick steps back into his room, but Meguro is already catching up to him, excitement all over his face. “No, don’t come any closer, aren’t-aren’t you also not a fan of those movies?”
Why is he so thrilled about it? It makes Hikaru want to lock himself in his room, cannot understand why Meguro is so adamant about it, why he picked a horror movie out of everything else. Maybe inviting him over for a movie wasn’t such a good idea, after all…
“I thought you graduated from being scared?” Meguro teases a little bit more, grinning at him like a child, and Hikaru narrows his eyes threateningly, stomping his foot.
“From the haunted house, it’s the haunted house, ok? But horror movies, I don’t want to-“
But Meguro is already grabbing him by the wrist, pulling him back towards the living room, ignoring his squealing, and maybe it is childish, but Hikaru keeps trying to hold onto things, even walls, shaking his head in despair.
“Come on, come on!”
“Oh, please, I promise you, it won’t be that scary and if someone tries to jump out of the screen, I will protect you!”
Where did he find that strength all of a sudden? Hikaru is already dragged to the couch, Meguro almost sitting on top of him so that he won’t run away, and he bends over to grab the remote, throwing all his weight on Hikaru, who’s still squirming. This is definitely not how he had thought this night would go…
