Are you sure you want your baby to know me? Said baby will spend the rest of her life hitting things just to hear them break; your house is so nicely appointed I wouldn't want that.

You know you aren't really like that. Not on the inside. Not all the time. Anyway, babies break things. That's what charms are for.
How are you, really? I am very happy, but a bit overwhelmed though every day I feel a little bit more like I can manage things, and I'm very afraid that all of our friends are over THERE and we are over HERE on our own. And I don't really know how things will work out in the fall. I never think I made a mistake but oh, it is going to be very difficult!
