I leak. The baby cries, I leak. Someone hugs me too close, I leak. Sirius seems to be vaguely afraid that if he asks for milk in his tea I will pull out my breast. Ted's mum gave us this Muggle pumping contraption that comes rather in handy; it lets Ted give the baby her early feeding and Mum have a lie in. (Mum! Good lord.) However, we ( Read more... )

I'm glad.

Do come, if you can, before term starts. We're a bit tied to the place and can't go visiting at the moment, but we'd love to see you.

Kirley you must come! We would love to have you. Things are very not boring here and you must meet the baby. I bet she'll already know you, too. She is very lovely and squirmy and alive.

You know, he's always been like Narcissa in that way. "Ew, ew get it away from me" and all of that.

Be careful. We wouldn't want you very different. Baby needs to know you.

I am still here. You can still talk to me. We have this.

We do.

Are you sure you want your baby to know me? Said baby will spend the rest of her life hitting things just to hear them break; your house is so nicely appointed I wouldn't want that.

I'll visit you when it's safe. If it's ever safe. Insects are everywhere, and a lot of them are awfully well-off.

You will visit when you visit. I am a patient woman, though I long for the sound of your voice.

You know you aren't really like that. Not on the inside. Not all the time. Anyway, babies break things. That's what charms are for.

How are you, really? I am very happy, but a bit overwhelmed though every day I feel a little bit more like I can manage things, and I'm very afraid that all of our friends are over THERE and we are over HERE on our own. And I don't really know how things will work out in the fall. I never think I made a mistake but oh, it is going to be very difficult!
