Hehehehe, so perfect! My favorite bit:

Shouri’s still not sure what prompted him to share his woes with his brother, but this is a little bit encouraging, in that his brother doesn’t think his friend’s behavior is particularly odd.

Then again, his brother also thinks Wolfram is just his very good friend. His very obsessive, very good friend. Who apparently sleeps in his brother’s bed in some frilly pink thing, when he bothers sleeping in anything at all. Because very good friends do things like this in Shin Makoku.

Oh wow, this is really awesome! I totally loved it. You've got Shouri's "voice" down perfectly. And Murata is so essentially Murata. Plus I loved the short little Yuuri/Wolfram scene and Shouri's reactions to everything. Loved it!

I have yoinked said icon because it is made of all manner of win. Ever since episode 5 of the OAV, when they're both riding pillion and sniping at each other and Murata is totally in Shouri's face... I have wanted this pairing. I am absurdly proud of myself for writing the first such fic, if, indeed, it is the first.

I do not think I can express the amount of 'YES' I am feeling with any amount of capslock. This was fantastic. I am one of the worst crack!pairing whores ever, and will pair Muraken with anyone anyway, but I think you may have just given me a new Murken OTP? PERHAPS.
