[As a matter of fact, the shifted hadn't caused Jackson to wake seeing as how he already was. He had his sleepless nights, most of which he would spending doing something productive or getting an idea and calling Kale at who knew what time in the morning. But he didn't do that anymore. Now he spent his nocturnal hours staring at the ceiling or walls while he sorted through his thoughts. Jackson thought his mind to be dangerous territory at times, so he was glad he wasn't the only one up.

He got up and poked his head into Jimmy's room, knocking on the frame.] Reading anything good?

Just yesterdays paper. [Jimmy said gently, turning over to get a good look at Jackson.] You can't sleep either?

Not really. It's nothing new though. I'm used to being up at night.
