1. Aw they're just teasing him! They totally save him a plate when he thinks they've eaten it all and left him to do the washing up. And I personally love all the "Merlin is their little wife. They put him in dresses and he ~serves them all" implications of those encounters. THINK OF THE PORN.
2. I'm going with boy. Just because I looked at his little derpy face and saw how much he looks like Merlin. And he can be Arthur's heir! How fitting is it that Arthur's heir be a boy dragon that Merlin gave birth to? IT'S DESTINY.
I am firmly believing that they were just teasing him and actually left him some food. The teasing is just to show us how he is one of them. Like they did with Gwaine. Sort of. *nods* Cannot convince me otherwise. All is well.
I DON'T KNOW BUT I WANT ONE, TOO. It was adorable!
The knights were having fun with him. They really had a plateful of food for him. That's why Leon was laughing. He's not that bad a guy.
Kilgharrah called the baby a he. Although it would seem bad since there wouldn't be any more dragon babies. Plus when Merlin dies and if he doesn't have any sons, he's the last one and so the dragons are screwed.
Its alright though as the Merlin of legends is immortal (although he does according to legent gets trapped either within a crystal cave or within a Hawthorn tree for all eternity erm, lets move on...) so we could potentially have more dragons so long as there are eggs :D
1) I think they were just teasing. The other week it was Gwaine on the end of the teasing and I think this week it was Merlin. That also fitted in with my interpretation of the episode about whether or not Merlin feels isolated. It seemed a bit of a theme of the episode for me.
The Knights actually all adore Merlin it seems, and will always listen to him and his theories. Arthur tries to give a very regal unaffectionate display towards Merlin when he's with the Knights. It's so 'over the top' unaffectionate, but then he starts dragging him out of harms way. It's a very good pretence he keeps up, until Merlin's in danger.
2) I thought she was a girl! I seem to be on my own with that though! Oops!
