Merlin Season 4 Episode 6 Review
Yet another one of my short reviews, although this one is because I only got to watch ten minutes of the show.Then I got kicked off the telly because I was literally just shouting 'MERLIN YOU FUCKING MORON' repeatedly.
My beef with this episode can be summed up thusly.
1. Why is Merlin incapacitated by what appears to be a scratch? I know they can't show blood by they could have just darkened a patch of his tunic with water to show where blood was.
2. Merlin has more power and more experience than Morgana, has two dragons at his beck and call (one of whom would probably enjoy eating Morgana) and all he has to do is shout and they'll come. WHY ISN'T HE KILLING MORGANA? He's done it before, and in worse situations (Nimueh, Cornelius Sigan, Morgause)
Beeb, I know this must have sounded like an awesome premise but for fuck's sake, CONTINUITY. Merlin has called for Kilgharrah before for much less important things than killing somebody who is trying to prevent their destiny. Give him a shout and he'll come and stomp on Morgana. Voila, problem over, you can take her body back to Camelot, everybody lives happily ever after and we get to see Aithusa again.
I give up.
Also it was my birthday yesterday and I'm still hungover.
