I subscribe to Daily Science Fiction which sends me a short sci fi or fantasy story to my inbox each weekday. Some are excellent, so are a bit meh, but it's generally nice to get something new and quick to read each day while I wait for my train

Yes, I'd just checked and saw that he'd made it :-) I'm really pleased about that, and that it happened so quickly for him. I hated to think of someone of that age having to worry about losing their home. Obviously I know he's not the only one, but mostly you never seem to hear about things like this until it's too late.
