*huuugs* I'm sorry it's been such a hard year, sweetie. I really think this is a tricky age because there's no longer the relatively carefree existence of student life and yet it's still to early to have real security about where you're going or what you're doing. Not because I thought you "needed" to lose weight or anything, but just...ah, there is something so great about finding some pleasure and power in an arena that never felt like yours, or something you could do. Also, congratulations on everything you've achieved! YAY PUBLICATION! I love reading your posts so will be v. happy if you post more - don't worry if it's angsty, that's partly what lj is for, after all. ;)

Gosh, it's amazing to think of people being barristers! And yes, tricky to be in slightly different positions of student/not. I am totally confident in you, though - I think you will have a happier 2012. Not to say that it will be without its own difficulties, of course, one must be realistic, but this whole post gives the impression of someone really taking charge of her life and her happiness. xx

p.s. Be gentle with yourself!
