For my fellow cat owners have any of you had to deal with Feline IBD? Xaos was diagnosed with it and he's on meds and I switched his food but he's still sick, super skinny and not gaining weight. Any suggestions

One of my past kitties (Loecky - she died of old age in 2004) had it.

She was put on prednisone (sp?) and was given Hill's i/d canned food (the kind you get at the vet's). She did quite well on that.

Every cat's different, though (I think it's like IBS in people, some foods trigger one person and are fine for another), so you may have to try a few brands before you get the right one for him. (Royal Canin have veterinary diet foods too.)

Dunno if that's any help at all. I hope Xaos' health improves soon.

He's on the prednisone and they tried to get me to buy the food but it's ridiculously expensive from the vet and there's not actually medicine in it. So I made a mix of Iams digestive care, Cat chow indoors and purina one senior food. So far he doesn't seem interested in food but he does like his "goodlife recipe" cat treats.

Seconded. There is no (commercially available) hippo that makes that sound, alas, as it was revealed in an interview that they dub the sound in during post-production.

:D I am trying to convince Eladar to go as my computer geek counterpart but so far no dice.

I know the hippo is something I am going to have to make I was just hoping since I knew enough geeky people, someone might have already made one. :D

As for the coat, got it.
